From company building to digital consulting
In January 2019, DevelopX was founded in Hamburg by Konrad Hintermair and TruVenturo, a leading incubator with a portfolio of over 25 successful tech startups.
After years of building some of Germany’s most successful digital startups, our joint vision was to build a leading European tech consultancy helping shareholders and CEOs of traditional companies become digital champions.

Konrad Hintermair
Founder & Managing Partner
Konrad is the founder of DevelopX. In his role as a partner, he advises clients in the energy, private equity and logistics sectors, drawing on his experience of over 30 successful digital transformation and business development projects. Prior to establishing DevelopX, he was a partner at the renowned incubator TruVenturo, where he successfully led numerous ventures and exits. Previously he worked as an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company in Hamburg. Konrad holds a degree in engineering and an MBA from IESE Business School in Barcelona.
Dr. Armin Höll-Steier
Partner
As a partner at DevelopX, Armin advises clients primarily in the financial services and insurance sectors. His areas of focus include digital product development, customer journey development, sales and the application of AI in digital workflows. Prior to joining DevelopX, Armin was CEO of CHECK24 Versicherungsservice and had management roles at the top strategy consulting firms Bain & Company and Boston Consulting Group. He holds a diploma and a doctoral degree in Business Administration and a Master of Business Research from LMU Munich.
Diana Vainberga
Partner
Diana is a Partner at DevelopX, with a focus on transaction advisory, deal readiness, and data and AI-led value creation. Prior to joining DevelopX, Diana was a Director at PwC, Germany and earlier, UK. She has 10+ years’ international experience leading Deals engagements and Data & AI-led value creation initiatives, with a focus on Private Equity clients and their portfolio companies. She holds an MSc from Warwick Business School and speaks French, Spanish, Russian, German and English.
Michael Hab
Partner
Michael is a Partner at DevelopX with 25+ years in digital transformation, product innovation and venture building. He has led engagements in 20+ international markets, delivering impact across B2B and B2C. At DevelopX, he advises clients on business model and product innovation, scalable platform solutions and digital operating models. Previously, he held leadership roles at Etribes and Accenture/dgroup; earlier roles include B‑LUE Management Consulting and Arthur Andersen. He began his career at a CRM software startup later acquired by SAP. Michael holds a lic. rer. pol. in Management from the University of Fribourg (Switzerland).
Chris Heeg
Partner
As a Partner at DevelopX with a strong focus on technology, Chris is responsible for the design, implementation and scaling of complex digital products. He also advises clients on digital transformation and the adoption of emerging technologies such as AI and blockchain.
Before joining DevelopX, Chris was Commercial Lead at freiheit.com and worked as a consultant at firms including Roland Berger and McKinsey & Company. As the CEO & Founder of a mobile fitness app, he brings hands-on entrepreneurial experience. He holds a degree in physics from the Technical University of Munich, which he completed one semester ahead of schedule.
Nuno Campos

As a Partner at DevelopX, Nuno is responsible for the Nearshoring division. He helps companies build scalable international development teams with a strong focus on operational excellence, cultural alignment and technical quality. With over 15 years’ experience in international tech and digital environments, he has extensive expertise in setting up high-performing product and engineering organisations. He has previously served as CEO of Nearshore Portugal, where he successfully built dedicated teams for global clients, and held leadership roles at Pricewise, Findmore Consulting and SmartFocus. He holds an MBA from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and a Marketing degree from IADE Creative University in Lisbon.
Jan Grzybowski

As a Partner at DevelopX, Jan supports companies in building high-performing delivery organisations and technology teams. His particular focus is on managing complex software project portfolios, agile delivery models, and driving sustainable growth. With almost 20 years’ experience working for international technology and consulting companies, Jan has extensive expertise in business development, project management and global service delivery. He has held leadership roles including Chief Delivery Officer at Neurons Lab, Acting Delivery Director at SoftServe, and Head of Managed Services at Clouds On Mars and SoftwareOne. He also founded his own IT services company, which was later successfully acquired. Jan holds an Executive MBA from Kozminski University and a Software Engineering degree from the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology.

Karol is a partner at DevelopX, with nearly 20 years’ experience supporting companies in delivering complex software development projects within the telecoms, e-commerce and retail sectors. He has a blend of technical and leadership skills and brings extensive expertise in managing international projects and leading large engineering organisations. His professional background includes roles such as COO and Delivery Director at Inspeerity, as well as leadership positions at Computaris and project and software management roles at Exorigo and DigitalRoute. Karol holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the Białystok University of Technology and a postgraduate degree in IT management from the Warsaw University of Technology.

Helmut is Affiliated Partner at DevelopX, where he supports companies in building technology-driven business models and digital platforms. His focus is on data-based ecosystems, innovation, and sustainable growth, with particular expertise in the financial industry. Previously, he held leadership positions at Deutsche Bank in Germany and the United Kingdom, founded a fintech/startup (now part of Qwist), and was a Partner at the strategic communications consultancy Kekst CNC, as well as at Bridgemaker in corporate venture building. Helmut holds an Executive MBA from City, University of London, and has completed executive programs at Stanford, the Hasso Plattner Institute, and MIT.
Alexandre Borges
Head of Operations Nearshoring
Alexandre is Head of Operations Nearshoring at DevelopX and supports companies in building high-performing nearshore teams. He focuses particularly on the strategic management of international nearshoring projects, the development and leadership of large engineering organizations, and the seamless integration of teams into client structures. With nearly 10 years of experience at Nearshore Portugal, he brings extensive expertise in managing international clients, leading IT business units with more than 100 professionals, and developing new partnerships and business opportunities. Previously, he was Business Manager at Findmore Consulting, where he managed international nearshore clients and built IT recruitment teams. Alexandre holds a degree in Management and Administration from the Instituto Superior de Ciências Sociais e Políticas at the University of Lisbon.

Business Lead
Shannon is Business Lead at DevelopX and an expert in product innovation with a particular focus on human-centered digital solutions. She combines experience in strategy consulting and innovation management with in-depth expertise in design and digital transformation. Her previous positions include roles at Bain & Company and KPMG’s Global Strategy Group. Shannon holds a master’s degree in Design Innovation Management from Loughborough University London and a bachelor’s degree in Communication Design from Aachen University of Applied Sciences.

As Senior Brand & Communications Manager at DevelopX, Bob is responsible for building and strategically developing the brand. His focus is on clear brand management, consistent communication, and the development of strong, effective narratives. He has held senior positions at Zero360, Herbliz, and Project A Ventures. He holds a master’s degree in cognitive neuroscience from the Academy of Neuroscience, a master’s degree in corporate communications from FOM University, and a bachelor’s degree in media management from RheinMain University of Applied Sciences.
Dennis Poteski
Technology Lead
As Technology Lead at DevelopX, Dennis works at the interface between product and technology. He focuses in particular on the development of modern IT architectures that combine scalability, future-proofing, and business value. Previously, he worked as Principal IT Architect at SCAYLE and as Solution Architect at About You, where he was responsible for complex platform solutions in various industries. Dennis holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Informatics from FOM University and has completed training as an IT specialist.

As an associate partner at DevelopX, Lars supports companies in developing data-driven products and new digital business models. He focuses in particular on the use of AI, scalable platform solutions, and go-to-market strategies in industries such as medtech, logistics, and fintech. His previous positions include zeb Consulting, Horváth & Partners, EY, and Telefónica. Lars holds two master’s degrees in Strategic Entrepreneurship and Business Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam and the University of Amsterdam.
Gülay Elsner
Head of People & Culture
Gülay is Head of People & Culture at DevelopX, where she is responsible for building a strong corporate culture and developing modern HR structures. Her focus is particularly on talent acquisition, team development, and positioning DevelopX as an attractive employer. Her career has included positions in consulting, sales, and recruiting, including at TruVenturo, expertum, and emagine. Gülay brings more than 20 years of experience to the table and combines strategic thinking with pragmatic implementation skills.
Marius Schubert
Head of Finance
As Head of Finance at DevelopX, Marius is responsible across the group for financial strategy, M&A, legal matters, and the further development of key processes throughout the company’s growth phases. His focus is particularly on finance integration, automation, and business intelligence in digital business models. Previously, he was CFO at Videobeat Networks, where his responsibilities included overseeing the sale to the Dentsu Group, and Head of Finance at a venture in the Finleap Group. Marius holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Northeastern University in Boston and in international management from ESB Business School in Reutlingen.
Hendrik Geiger
Business Lead
Hendrik is Business Lead at DevelopX. He combines experience in digital product development with a deep understanding of technology and a clear focus on measurable business impact. He focuses in particular on scaling IoT and software solutions in the areas of mobility, energy, and industry. His professional career includes positions at Accenture and mantro, where he was responsible for innovation projects for leading industrial companies. Hendrik holds a master’s degree in Media, Management, and Digital Technologies from LMU Munich and a Master of Arts in Economics & Management from the University of St. Andrews.

Fabian is Technology Lead at DevelopX and has extensive experience in software development and software architecture. He focuses on the scalable implementation of digital business models and the development of technical solutions that offer measurable added value for customers. Previously, he was CTO at INFITECH and held various management positions at CHECK24 for over ten years. He holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Information Engineering from the University of Konstanz.
Vincent Reichardt
Business Development Manager
In his role as Business Development Manager at DevelopX, Vincent works at the interface between strategy, sales, and marketing. He focuses in particular on the use of modern tools, data-based decision-making processes, and the further development of scalable structures. Previously, he worked for PowerUs and SolarHub, among others, gaining experience in talent management, CRM optimization, and sales in the energy sector. Vincent holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Würzburg and a master’s degree in business administration from Mittweida University of Applied Sciences.

Moritz is a Senior Business Architect at DevelopX and has experience as a founder from building an AI start-up. He focuses in particular on the development of digital platforms and the internationalization of scalable business models. Before joining DevelopX, he co-founded Lavelio and worked in strategy consulting at Stern Stewart & Co. and Arkwright. He holds a master’s degree in management from HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management and a bachelor’s degree in general management from EBS University.

Justus is a Senior Business Architect at DevelopX. He combines expertise in digital platform strategies, user-centered product development, and organizational transformation. He combines deep methodological know-how in agile product management approaches with in-depth experience in managing complex transformation projects. His major focus lays on the conception, piloting, and scaling of B2B platform solutions as well as the design of user-centered customer journeys. By that he supports our clients in successfully developing and implementing their digital innovation projects. Justus holds a Master in Economics from Copenhagen Business School and a Bachelor in Business Administration from KU Eichstätt-Ingolstadt.

Susanne is a Finance Assistant at DevelopX and supports the finance and accounting departments with a wide range of tasks. She draws on her many years of experience in accounting and controlling, which she gained during her 17 years at Coca-Cola GmbH. She also played a key role in setting up a yoga fashion label and supported the founder in all areas of the business. Susanne holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Management from FOM University.
