Cargonexx set out to improve its Transport Management Platform (TMP) to bring greater transparency and efficiency to road freight logistics. DevelopX worked on several modules of the platform that give access to real-time route data, helping companies plan routes more efficiently and lower costs.

The Challenge

Cargonexx wanted to improve its own platform to make route planning more precise and reliable. The goal was to give logistics teams access to traffic updates, road closures, and shipment data so that journeys could be planned and adjusted in real-time.

Beyond routing, the platform also needed to structure key information about shipments — such as loading requirements, times, and service details — and make it easily available to all stakeholders. The challenge was to combine these data sources into a system tht would cut costs, save time and reduce carbon emissions.
